While doing absolutely nothing for a lot of FCBD, I had time to draw this. Iíve been reading a lot of Lois Lane comics from the 60s and they are usually absolutely insane but I wasnít in that head space to go there so I drew this way more mellow, light, version of a young Lois Lane inspired by Dean Trippeís pitch from awhile back. [link] It sounded really cool. Also while I was at it, I had her wearing a shirt of my friendsí band The Lavenders [link] Got that Lavender Blue Skies of theirs stuck in my head. ALL DAY. Infuriatingly so. But in a really relaxed way. Anyways, I hope you like this.
This really reminds me of Frank Quitely's style.
Who is Frank Quitely?
The guy who did the art for New X-MEN, Batman & Robin: Batman Reborn, and All-Superman, look him up. His style looks alot like the one in this picture, and that is a well earned compliment my man.
Thanks again, man. I love this so much!
