Did this for the cover of a blank sketch variant of Death of Spiderman. Kind of fun to draw Spiderman because his costume is so sweet. Funny thing is how much people will tell me how much they like the drawing because it looks like he's wearing clothes. Like people don't realize that they're clothes sometimes.

I think it's less that people don't realize they're clothes and more that other artists don't really try to draw them like clothes.

Great sketch, BTW--though I can't help but notice that it looks like Peter and Miles are about the same height here, even though one is about 27 and the other is 13 at most.

They say that because superhero costumes look like, you know, spandex. Whereas you show the seams and everything.

Constructive criticism: Spidey's eyes seem to go a little too far down his face.

Honestly I hate drawing Spiderman's mask like that. I usually use standard sized eyes but for the ultimate version i wanted bigger eyes so it threw me off a bit.

Nice little touch there with the light & dark grays on Miles! I always thought his costume was a bit too dark.
