Pokemon

Almost a year ago I penciled this drawing and thought “Aw yeah, this will be fun to draw in between things” but then it turned out no, it wasn’t really that fun. So I put it aside. For months. But then I wanted to ink something one night when I was too tired to make good decisions. So then here this is.

Blastoise and Cubone are probably the two coolest Pokemon in the world. Blastoise is like the Notorious B.I.G. of the Pokedex and Cubone is gut-wrenchingly morbid and depressing. Back when I messed around with Pokemon Blue on my Gameboy, you better believe that those two were in my line up. Also in my lineup: an unevolved and very high level Ratata. That happened. I lived it. My Pokemon rolled six deep and fought to either represent our crew to the fullest or get their asses kicked. It was whatever.
